An initial objective of the planning process is to gain an understanding of the requirements of current and potential future users of TeraGrid. In support of this, we have organized three invitational user workshops. The first workshop included individuals affiliated with Science Gateway projects, held in conjunction with the TeraGrid07 conference, in June 2007 in Madison, Wisconsin. The remaining workshops will include participants who represent diversity in terms of discipline, allocation size, gender, and other factors.
